Current Title: Post-doctoral Research Scientist
Affiliation: International Agroinformatics Alliance / G.E.M.S., University of Minnesota
I am a geographic information scientist with a primary focus on agricultural systems. My work aims to advance the state-of-the-art in GIScience in order to:
identify and test generalizable principles underlying the spatial and temporal dynamics of human-environment interactions and
understand how to more efficiently and effectively integrate spatial modeling and decision support systems into agricultural management and policy.
In addition to a full-time research position, I am a part-time Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Minnesota where I teach a course in spatial analysis for regional landscape design and planning.
