Research Focus

Geographic information science with a primary focus on artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques in the context of agricultural systems. Research objective is to advance the state-of-the-art in GIScience in order to:

  1. identify and test generalizable principles underlying the spatial and temporal dynamics of human-environment interactions and

  2. understand how to more efficiently and effectively integrate machine learning, artificial intelligence, and decision support systems into agricultural management and policy.
